@adiz Around 60% of homeless in the USA get back out of homelessness within a year. Of the number that get back out, about 1/4 of them are homeless again in two years.

It appears that somewhat over half the people experiencing homelessness get back on their feet.

20% are chronically homeless, which are probably the people you're talking about. Your post seems pretty harsh but I agree with the idea that there's not some duty as a citizen you have to tolerate having all public places destroyed by crazy dangerous people.
