@ireneista It's the same slight of hand as in Pascal's Wager... if you have an infinite reward or loss for any specific strategy, that strategy must always be chosen or avoided, respectively.
I'll say I don't even think utilitarianism is wrong (well, it is wrong, but less so than most other philosophies I have been able to formulate a concrete relationship to it), but that shows the absurdity of techbros claiming they can rationally predict infinite reward or loss.
