AnarchoNinaWritesGiven the outrage among many fans of The Cure when this track was released as the first single from the album, I suspect including The 13th here will be a controversial opinion. That's unfortunate because on its own, this song is quirky, inventive, courageous and fun. The mariachi-style guitars, Latin percussion and brassy horns come together on a track that's almost unique in The Cure's catalogue, and the two-chord "cool" interplay make for an intoxicating experience.
