With its minimalist production, a slight echo on Smith's vocals and the song's percussion mostly amounting to drummer Lol Tolhurst tapping his sticks together, this track actually sounds a bit like a workshop demo by The Police; but in a good way. 10:15 Saturday Night also features a rare Smith guitar solo that's simple but catchy as hell.
