    @kobold @FediTree An opt-in is not really feasible. The bot would need to send at least 9 private mentions for confirmation, for every tree. Just invoking the bot 3 times would make it hit the post API limit.

    Another possibility I am exploring is make it respect your profile settings regarding discoverability.
