I planted them in front of our garage in a small patch of dirt that I am sure is very poor quality. About three months ago I started putting coffee grounds at the base of them. They both responded, but one more so than the other. To the left is a geranium with a bright, but intense shade of pink growing against the red bricks of the garage. In between the two are the small green leaves of a jasmine plant  that is probably around 25cm tall.
