Yohan Yukiya Sese Cuneta 사요한🦣@AnnaAnthro I'd like to add another example, «All Of Us Are Dead». I recently read the webtoon (I'm not sure if it was the original source (since many webtoons are also an adaptation of a novel)), and it was different from the K-drama adaptation.
LOL, not to be unfair to the original work, but I like the K-drama adaptation. Not because of the actors and special effects, but the changes they made to the story and worldbuilding. 😅 In the K-drama adaptation, the worldbuilding is more flesh out. The rules are clearer and logical. And the story was more interesting and engaging. I can't wait for Season 2, where the adaptation writers have complete control since the webtoon was only up to a certain point shown in Season 1.
K-drama producers and writers are experts in adaptations.
