- Embed this notice@kaia @prettygood This is at least a reminder to people that not changing the default WiFi SSID on their own devices "because they changed the password" can still be quite dangerous.
If I know enough about you, I can still guess the password without much trying and then I have the ultimate gateway to your own network, because you didn't care enough to change the default SSID of your router which also included the brand name. Or in the more devious case, I could try to find vulns for that specific model, if the SSID included the model number (thankfully it usually doesn't nowadays).
It took me literally less than 5 minutes to find the default password for the fridge.
