If they wanted broad agreement on real environmental issues, they would focus on common sense ideas to make sure water/air/land are clean for future generations or they’d focus on getting toxins out of our food and water. Think ocean cleanup tech, desalination tech, removing micro plastics, conserving land, etc. Instead they go for controversy which drives division in elections. They NEED young voters afraid that they’re going to die from climate change. It drives votes.
