Mom doesn't look up. I look at the TV. There is a screenshot. There are several screenshots of Twitter, 4chan, a sinister image of Obama. Covered in red circles with lines drawn between individual words. There's a distinctive bit of text with cryptic phrases and inappropriate line breaks mentioning a storm and "[N]o [S]uch [A]gency" (with the brackets in the original).

"Mom, what the hell are you watching?"
'You know what I'm watching.'
"This is Qanon shit."
'I know.'
"This guy is an idiot."
'Be quiet, I'm watching this.'

She's not watching it, she's on Twitter, but I have temporarily locked up trying to figure out how to explain Gab boomers and how 4chan actually works and psyops and that the only reason Nostradamus is famous is that he was so vague that you can take no meaning and you can retrofit anything on anything.

(And this is the real reason Gab was a monumental failure: she is *right* in their target demographic but she has never heard of Gab.)

Anyway, I will be back, shit's not set up yet and I am chilling and I have, apparently, 600+ unread notifications but my machines are off except a uConsole that is playing music and this RISC-V DevTerm (thus the lack of emchijos for the dialog; I'm not sure which ones are here) that is serving some minor computing needs. Just I have been unexpectedly encountered Qanon bullshit in real IRL and "Look, I saw this all play out in real time and it was bullshit five years before you even heard of it" did not work and I lack a proper coping mechanism for this.
