I also wish that people who are against H-1B and immigration in general can better focus their protests against the companies that abuse these systems, rather than at the workers who simply want a better life.

An average H-1B worker comes to the US still many steps behind you on many things. Even if you think they are taking the high paid tech job you think you deserve, consider that:

- they are here mostly on one income (their spouses often can't work)
- they can't leave their jobs easily
