Aras PranckevičiusLaptop updated from MBP M1 Max to M4 Max. Quick impression that CPU-based workloads I use (compilation, CPU heavy blender stuff) are about 2x faster, nice. Minor downside: whereas on M1 getting the fans to be audible was very rare, on M4 with all CPU cores up the fans do spin up sooner. Not as bad as Intel-based MBPs used to be, but still much more audible than M1.
