based on my experience in tech and security, i suggest "cassandra".

finally, our job description and title would be an honest assessment of what we're in for: always predicting bad things, never listened to, doomed to watch what we predicted come to pass.

for bonus points, dress code could include grecian robes and phone headset resembling snakes (who would whisper alerts and warnings into our ears).
