RetMy parents’ neighbours are Polish and they are legit some of the nicest people I know. We were having a chat today about local politics and she said something really self-deprecating along the lines of “we’re immigrants, so…” (as though their opinion is less valid) and it broke my heart to hear it. Wanted to fucking cry. I wish people didn’t think that way. Honestly fuck nationalism and fuck nationalists.
