Year end predictions, #2: "open" AI models like #Granite will become your personal assistant. You can run them on your own laptop, use #RAG [1] and #InstructLab [2] under the hood to extend and adapt them with your personal data/documents, all in a simple application that (should be) completely Open Source and is guaranteed to never share data outside of your machine. (I run a Granite 3B model on my laptop and I am quite impressed).
