Sometimes I feel that by publishing essays on security in the west where very little "happens," I'm contributing to a stifling effect. "Be suuuuuper careful, so careful even that you do nothing!!!" Or some such shite.

But then I'll be in a meeting where somehow multiple snitches are present and everyone will boo and hiss when I point this out thus reminding me that actually yes we desperately need to have these discussions.
