bought myself a used 8tb barracuda drive. its an SMR drive so it took a minute to transfer some of my existing data to it, but now that its set up it seems to run fine. i had to replace my 1tb internal with it since even though theres a slot for a 2nd 3.5 inch drive in my case, dell is a bastard and the sata cable and hdd caddy together are like $20. not doing that.

so now my 1tb drive is chilling in a drawer, the 1tb external ive had living under my pc is also chilling in a drawer, and life is comfy.
