David NiceLook who came to the fourth of my Opera in Depth classes on Smetana's 'Libuše' - none other than Royal Opera Music Director in waiting Jakub Hrůša. I find it increasingly difficult not to have tears in my eyes talking about this masterpiece, and he expressed his feelings about it so eloquently. The magnificent concert performance he conducted in Litomyšl should be released on CD at some point.
