Watch, I can twist the parable it in the opposite direction too.
Of the following people in this parable:
The robbers - the economic illegals; gangers; criminals: Who benefit systematically.
The victim - the native denizens who suffer from the effects of murder, rape, or wage dilution from the "robbers".
The priest - the politicians who ignore their oaths and continue to enrich themselves.
The Levite - the native denizens who won't help out of ideological or reasons of convince; useful idiots.
The Samaritan - those who are trying to frustrate the exploitation, by arresting the illegals, or prevent their intrusion; or simply aiding the victims of illegal alien exploitation. Currently the "political black sheep".
I don't think sacrificing your countrymen gets you any closer to the kingdom.
