    @cstross I have seen 8" floppies in use, when doing work practice at a bank back in school in the 1990s. All today's transactions were backed up to an 8" floppy which was mailed to headquarters for verification against the on-line records. But used, no.

    Does LTO count for magentic tape, btw?
