David Chisnall (*Now with 50% more sarcasm!*)Almost 20 years ago, I saw a talk by Alan Kay where he described progress in computing as a process of building layers of abstractions and then collapsing lower layers together once we’ve worked out what the higher layers need.
So, just wondering, are there any plans to start on the second step any time soon?
