watchpocket 🍄🌱@dmandl I think it *is* a perception problem. It isn't hard in the least to jump onto mastodon.social, which for all intents and purposes is the Mastodon default. But the perception has become the meme, people hear it's hard & say "I hear it's hard to use" so they go to Bluesky without even trying Mastodon. Or "oh that's where the geeks are."
