Black folks in the US have historically lived in a system that enslaved them (chattel slavery) and when that system was shut down it moved to enslave them in other ways (prison slavery).

After chattel slavery, they suffered when the government and courts and legal enforcement systems all subjugated them with Jim Crow Laws in the South and pogroms, town burnings, police bombings, etc in the North.

Even now they're under a system that targets them over whites.

A lot of white folks are seeing the US system under Trump tear down "Rule of Law" even for them. Still minority groups will be targeted first and most harshly. Whether that be folks of color or LGBTQIA+ or folks marked as "Liberal" on down the line.

Look. Most folks in the world don't live within just systems. And even the US's system is not and has not been "just" for much of its populations.

So join the club.

Adapt.
Build community.
Join community.
Protect each other.
And overcome.

Others have been doing it for hundreds of years. Learn from them. Join and listen to them. Follow their lead. Your life depends on it. (Their lives have depended on it for a very long time).
