Waiting for the TideI started reading Riot Baby by Tochi Onyebuchi. The world and character voice is incredibly immersive, even as I struggle to understand exactly what's happening. Last night, I, a middle-aged white woman, dreamed I was a young Black man pursued by police. This is an example of how stories can change the world as we know it.
