It's tragically funny that Gen Xers in the 90's went on about how miserable and pointless wage slaving in a consumerist world was (see: Fight Club, Office Space, Falling Down) blissfully unaware that things were going to get so much infinitely fucking worse forever

You can't even relate to these characters anymore. They're supposedly miserable, but they have more than you could ever hope for.
