Interesting that we're primarily looking at Tesla electric doors here. As I think about my Subaru, when the back doors are locked I have frequently had passengers ask how to unlock them and, again if the front doors are locked I don't see an easy way to extract a victim who is unconscious or panicked other than breaking a window as the truck driver in this incident did.
I'm not dismissing the problem, I just think it's a lot bigger than Tesla or EVs in general.
