    Ironically, not being on the war / Ukraine beat, Lopatto *also* rather muddles the USV / Starlink story. They're surface vessels, not subs, and they were reported washing up mysteriously in Crimea around Sept 21, 2022 with apparent Starlink antennas.       A previously unreported drone boat, known as a USV (uncrewed surface vessel), appears to have slipped past Russian Navy patrols. The device was found on a beach close to the major Russian Navy base of Sevastopol in Crimea.
