I have a high school friend who works in a library. I sent her this article and how I thought it was interesting:

She then went on to immediately claim it wasn't interesting, but "uninformed" and how it was a "boomers take on going to a library."

I informed her that "boomer" was one of the two people who literally founded Wikipedia.

She's one of those people who said parents complained because they put out pronoun pins .. in the children's section. I was like, "Yes. That's good. They fucking should!" ... she also thought hormones make up for the difference in athletics when trans play in womens' sports. She's obese and never played sports.

This is in the deep south. This is the state of the American library worker.
