@VIcFury yes - though that is becoming less so; because to be an optimist used to mean believing the progressive "all people are equal, we just need to shuffle some things around to fix mistakes from the past"

but now that the lie of that is unmistakable, optimists are looking for a new vision, and it's probably going to be like the old one, which included race.
