The Seven Voyages Of SteveHa, tried noodling around a Node project that was only written in the last 12 months and trying to build it resulted in a ton of deprecation warnings, security flags (some serious) and "you should no longer be using f00b4r, migrate to l33tf4rt instead". Plus despite being a supposedly simple main.js with like 3 imports it pulls in a zillion dependencies (in which these problems exist). Who can possibly work in this dumpster fire of a dev environment? I'm noping right out
