@waifu you should generate the html, either on your pc, with some hooks magic, or js. I can't imagine you're not thinking about this already so you should share your thoughts
if codeberg pages can do SSI I'd just use that and make a file with a wall of <img>s
otherwise I'd consider markdown and a generator, maybe bother with hugo or other bullshit if bored enough
