It is, to date, the longest review, drama recap and analysis I've ever done. This is actually a very polarising drama. Reviewers like AvenueX outright said "don't bother" with the drama; many were angry Murong Jinghe wasn't as dark and toxic as his novel counterpart. But I loved this drama so much ... well except for massive parts of the script.
