pretty sure I would never type the term "sane-washing" myself, not a great look doc. I suspect what he means is "normalizing this dangerous person and his dangerous ideas about public health and medicine."

I'll call someone or something bonkers, even 'unhinged" - but "sane" is one of those clinical words that are generally used to marginalize mental health issues and people coping with them.

Otw, I agree with Doc. But I feel obligated to say "sane-washing" isn't my lexicon
