@Jakra @tama It's not necessarily a bad thing for it to be harder for under 16s to get access to some brainrot sites (that honestly nobody should use, as it respects none of the users freedoms), but of course the implementation will be terrible, implemented via something like ID card scanning.

At least such ID card requirement won't afflict anyone who doesn't use such sites (I remember some news articles about how it will eventually an ID card will be required to access the internet, which would be quite bad, but actually the news articles were writing about a handful of social media websites and assuming that that's the only thing people use the internet for).
