pinskia@reiver A related question is how many remember the IM wars? Back when the FCC actually cared, AOL, yahoo and MSN got into a big war of who can connect to each other network. AOL didn't want anyone to connect to their huge network for AIM. Yahoo and Microsoft wanted to connect. In the end all 3 are now dead. While Jabber which was used later on to connect them together lives on.
