@sickburnbro I'm honestly too lazy to look into the history of it...but it's a major theme these days in gnostic inspired art...the netflix castlevania anime was all about summoning a transgender demon into existence and there were really heavy gnostic adjacent references throughout in the character development...the matrix was allegedly always meant to be a metaphor for transgenderism and takes major plot elements from gnostic writings...what gives...
