@anemone @lain @deadheat It generally is and I abhor anything to do with the protestant-jewish den of villany and degeneracy that is the US government, and all its perfidious ideas and social norms. But there's literal decades of leftism to purge and Milei's government is terribly undermanned, so some degree of concession has to be made to have results. Right now it is a common interest of the Argentine government and the bad guys to make this libertarian free market government succeed, and while the CIA is happy to facilitate communism in the USA, it seems more interested in stabilizing Argentina so it again reaches a productive state and can trade. Making "allied" glowies persecute local enemies is useful. We simply need to put nationalist guys in those spots as soon as it's more troublesome than convenient to have the liaisons around.

Purging the government, universities and unions that have conspired together for two generations without opposition is hard enough with unlimited money, and they're trying to do it right off the most economically disastrous administration in recent history.
