LGBT groups were openly violent to libertarian voters and militants (One group even cornered and sexually assaulted a libertarian girl who was handing out electoral pamphlets) during the elections and actively mingle with the kirchnerists, in an unsurprising lack of forethought, and once the libertarians won the election every state agency charged with giving them VIP status and special protections was nuked. If you're used to how things are in the USA, you won't like how it is in Argentina, where you have to be nice to people or they will openly, publically fight you like they would anyone else, slur you into crying, and no one will persecute them for it because there's no special treatment anymore.
Now if you do not want any sort of special treatment and want to be judged solely on your personal merits, you'll be perfectly fine if you're in one of the big cities like BsAs or Rosario. You can also communicate just fine in the capital with just english, though you might be charged like a tourist if you only use english.
