@ele Honestly I haven't needed any. One thing I recommend is an "immutable" distro like Fedora Silverblue or Kinote (or the upcoming KDE distro). With an "immutable" distro the system files can't be edited so it's very difficult to break. Also this is anecdotal, but a GNOME interface *seems* to be more familiar for Mac users, and KDE for Windows but in my experience both are very easy to "get".
Other newbie friendly distros are Ubuntu, Zorin, or Mint. It's all free so I say just try them out!
