My point is that Cambridge Analytica doesn't even exist anymore, and many of those "fake news" content mills have been shut down, and yet Trump was still elected. Because those aren't the problem. They were never the problem.

The problem is that we have so many people susceptible to this particular type of manipulation, because we refuse to address the real cause of so many of our issues: US racism.
