Sean Eric Fagan@cstross I get the bulk of my ebooks from Amazon --- because I give out so many of them. Only two vendors let me buy gifts; only one of those lets me buy in bulk.
This does not make me happy, but the reality is: I can stop gifting ebooks, or I can continue to use Kindle.
