Would have preferred Harris just lie about wanting to give single-payer healthcare to the people again

Even if it was entirely cynical, and they had no intention of doing it

At least they would have won, and so not endangering at-risk groups under Trump

Some have even said it was because they didn't move far enough right

But its b/c Democratic Party large donors know that if wins are premised on promising things like universal healthcare, next will be universal housing

And they are right
