JulesOkay hear me out: standardisation and interoperability for bra underwires. After the size and fabric the labels should say "This bra uses a 47009 underwire" and then you should be able to go to a website and just enter a part number to get a replacement, instead of having to measure and guess and still getting one that somehow has the wrong curve to it. And you should be able to order them singly not just in pairs.
