Repubs believe can get several more #SCOTUS justices if #Trump wins & they capture Senate, which would give him FIVE justices. Thomas (76), Alito (74) are seen as prime candidates for retirement if GOP sweeps.

Neither candidate wants to talk about it, but the stakes today for the SCOTUSs future are huge. A GOP win could cement this majority for another generation or 2. A Dem win could protect theirs or shrink this majority. Divided gov’t means a R Sen. could stymie Harris
