The UNRWA has saved billions of euros to Israeli taxpayers over the past 57 years. It’s the responsibility of the occupying power, under the Geneva convention, to provide the occupied population with schools, universities, hospitals, social security, employment programs and access to food and water.
Israel has done NONE of these things, preferring to confine Palestinians into ever shrinking pieces of land that its soldiers could use as shooting targets, using the excuse of the human shields.
The international community through the UNRWA, unlike the Israeli genocidal terrorists, has taken care of provisioning those services to Palestinians for nearly 6 decades.
If Israel kicks UNRWA out, then its population will have to pay those services with their own taxes, or be fully accountable for yet one more violation of international law.
