Otávio Pinheiro@badnetmask in reality I was eager to try something new, and something that optimizes the data for long-term storage, and they claim just that (specifically optimized for metrics long-term storage). I may add that "why" to the blog post, seems a fair enough question :p And just out of curiosity, just checked the size, and the whole database is taking approx. 147 MB in disk space in almost exactly one year since it has been deployed.
