"Mission Statement: In the Covid-19 pandemic, the state has deprived us of the information and resources we need to protect ourselves, all for the capitalist system. We reject hierarchical structures, and promote solidarity (which is horizontal and unconditional) over charity (which is offered from above and often conditional), trusting in the transformative power of mutual aid to protect and empower individuals' right to self-determination, working together to meet each other's needs. We also oppose oppressive ideologies and organisations that violate the rights of people - especially the most marginalised - to protect their identity and to choose what personal information they wish to share, which is why we also choose to use private, secure, decentralised, free and open source software as much as possible. We embrace science - from the inclusive potential of technology, to the promotion of facts - raising awareness that masks work because Covid is airborne, while tackling myths around "immunity debt" and general misinformation/disinformation around Covid, alongside opposing eugenics, health supremacy, and fascism.
