    There are many similar(loan) words in Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Cantonese. I can feel the influence of ancient Chinese characters in these languages, which gives a sense of unity within Asia. It’s sad to see Cantonese disappearing and that China is not trying to preserve it.
