    On behalf of a friend, I am seeking referrals to network and security vendors local to NYC who could consult on a power industry project. From what I gather, this is an IOT network, likely to monitor some sort of power storage / clean energy install.

    They're looking specifically for some credentials: CISSP, CISM, and ISO27001. The last is a must. Bonus points if they understand power industry protocols.
