I used to be okay with silly bad-faith arguments from #MSM hosts, especially on the right, because I assumed they were joking and speaking tongue-in-cheek.

The election cycle has shown me, though, that 1) not all of them are joking and 2) even if they were, media literacy in the #USA is so poor that citizens would even know it was a joke if the people said "please clap" at the end.

So I now have far less respect for lowest-common-denominator media that I did as a kid.
